Peruvian Serpentine, or Serpentine, is sometimes referred to as “New Jade”. Serpentine gets it's name because it resembles the skin of a serpent/snake. Serpentine aids in your access to the spiritual history of Earth, and connection to nature. It is also beneficial to use while experiencing a “kundalini” awakening. Kundalini is a Sanskrit word meaning either “coiling like a snake” or “coiled up”.

Serpentine is an amazing stone to use during meditation, as it allows you to access and retrieve ancient wisdom and information about past lives. If you are trying to explore your spiritual side very deeply, it can help raise the kundalini, and keep your Chakras clear. Serpentine enhances our communication with Nature and Earth, and helps us find our own natural place within it.

Serpentine is a thought as a healing stone for the heart, especially heart rhythm, and lungs. It helps with the absorption of oxygen, and draws out toxins. It has also been known to help aid kidney and stomach complaints, such as fluctuating between diarrhea and constipation. It is also beneficial for cramping during menstruation.
